Sponsorship will mainly help with development of Synopsis - an open source machine learning framework for macOS and iOS - to add video intelligence to existing applications easily, and Syphon, and industry standard GPU accelerated video sharing library for realtime use cases.

The Synopsis project consists of new machine learning models, a new data set, an SDK for integration into 3rd party applications, and user facing tools to get immediate benefit.

  • Analyze Quicktime movie files with Synopsis Analyzer
  • Visually Inspect analyzed movies with Synopsis Inspector, allowing one to find similar videos, sort and filter based on tags, find interesting moments, edit points, and use as an interactive browser with other applications.
  • Integrate video intelligence into your own macOS and iOS apps
  • Develop cross platform compatibility with FFMPEG / LibAV integration.
