<b>Rules & regulations: </b><br>
1.A team should have a minimum of 5 members. They can have a maximum of 25 members including backstage helpers.<br>
2.The total performance duration of each team can be upto 6 minutes.<br>
3.Use of props is allowed and encouraged. Any kind of fluid, flame or heavy object is not allowed on stage. Teams will be punished if their act causes any damage to the stage. After the act is finished, each team has to make sure that the stage is clean and in its initial condition.<br>
4.Each performance should be based on a theme which should be clearly depictable. Teams have the freedom to choose any theme. <br>
5.Performance has to be in contemporary dance style. Any deviation from this dance style will lead to deduction in points.<br>

<b>Rules & regulations: </b><br>
Dance styles can vary from western to classical to folk to the typical Bollywood style.<br>
<b>Elimination Round: </b><br>
1. Contestant will have to perform a part of the prepared dance.<br>
2. Music track for the elimination round should be a part of the prepared dance sequence i.e. the one to be performed in Round 1 of the finals.<br>
Time limit: 1 minute.<br>
<b>Finals: </b><br>
Round 1: <br>
1. Full performance of the prepared dance.<br>
2. Time limit: 5 minutes.<br>
3. Participants are allowed to use props for a part of their performance.<br>
Round 2: <br>
1. This will be a competition/battle between any two randomly chosen participants with music given on the spot. The music tracks of the two participants will be mixed accordingly, switching from one participant to another.<br>
2. Time limit: 2.5 minutes/participant.<br>
<b>Judging criteria: </b><br>
Round 1: <br>
Choreography, expressions, energy level, stage utilization, costumes and props, innovation, overall impact.<br>
Round 2: <br>
The aptness of choreography for the given music, energy level, presentation, innovation, uniqueness of dance and overall impact.<br>
(Note: For Elimination round costumes and props won’t be included in the judging criteria, otherwise the judging criteria of elimination round are same as of round 1 of finals.)<br>

5. You are required to keep checking the website for any changes in the rules. They will be updated about 15 days before the festival dates.<br>

<b>Rules & regulations: </b><br><b>Team size</b>
1. Elimination round and first round of the finals: Minimum 5 members and Maximum 20 members are allowed in a team. Minimum 5 and maximum 12 are allowed on the stage at a time.<br>
2. Round 2: There is no constraint on the min. number of persons on the stage at a time.<br>
<b>Elimination round: </b>
1. Teams will have to perform to a suitably edited part of the music from their main performance.<br>
2. The music which is used in the elimination round has to be a part of the first round of the finals.<br>
<b>Time limit:</b> 3 minutes.<br>
<b>Final Round: </b><br>
<b>Round 1: </b><br>
1. Teams present their prepared performances.<br>
2. Time limit: 7-10 minutes (music piece duration).<br>
3. Costumes and props will be included in the judging criteria this round.<br>
<b>Round 2: Dance-Drama </b>
1. Each of the selected teams get to depict a famous bollywood movie by their performance in this round.<br>
2. The teams will be given the movie to be depicted in this round randomly from a list of movies after the prelims.<br>
3. The teams have to depict the story of their respective movie without using the songs of the movie given to them.<br>
4. Apart from the edited songs, usage of only the recorded voice of any team member (if needed) in the performance is permitted. Usage of songs from the given movie leads to disqualification of the team.<br>
5. Also, it is strictly notified that this round is called Dance-Drama and thus the performance is expected to depict a dramatic situation with dance. Just a drama performance might not help your cause.<br>
<b>6. Time limit</b>: 8 minutes.<br>
<b>Judging criteria: </b>
<b>Round 1:</b>
Synchronization, choreography, expressions, energy level, stage utilization, costumes and props, overall impact, innovation and presentation. (Note: For Eliminations, costumes and props won't be included in the judging criteria otherwise the judging criteria of Eliminations are same as of Round 1 of Finals.<br>
<b>Round 2: </b>
Drama: Effective creation of the theme of the movie, expressions, costume and props, innovation.<br>
Dance: Choreography, synchronization, stage utilization, coherence of dance to story, expressions, costume and props, overall impact.<br>
<b>**In case of conflicts, decision of the judges would be considered final.</b><br>

2. If team wants to perform a form other than those mentioned above, they are required to contact the coordinators well in advance.<br>
3. Time Limit: 5-10 minutes.<br>
4. Team size: minimum 6, maximum 12.<br>

1. Out of all participants, the first 4 teams will qualify for this round.<br>
2. This round comprises of teams taking part in street/hip-hop battle against each other.<br> According to the elimination round, the first ranked team will go on battle with the third ranked team and the second ranked with the fourth.<br>
3. Each battle would be of 9 minutes with the two teams performing for 90 seconds alternately.<br>
4. At least 1 team member must occupy the stage during the performance of respective teams.<br>
5. It is strictly notified that the face-off is a hip-hop battle and deviation from hip-hop might result in negative marking.<br>
6. Division of a team’s performance time amongst all team members is expected and will be included in the judging criteria.<br>
