Not getting any info in Request Metrics, Applicaton , Logging dashnoards in kibana, grafana.

• information about your environment (standalone application, servlet container, application server, ...)
• any information that enable us to reproduce the problem
• The optimum is if you have a small demo application that shows the problem.

Hi Team,

Glad to discuss about issues which we are using while statemonitor as part of APM.

We are using statemonitor to capture log metrics of an application which is using gralde as build environment. And we have added all the required plugins in build.gradle and we are able to build the app and deploy in tomcat. And we are using Elasticasearch as a database , Kibana as Visulalization tool. We are able to get metrics in Request Analysis, Web Analytics, Host dashboards. The below are the environment details and issues we are facing.

Application built on : Java
Build toll: Gradle
Web server : Tomcat
Issues -->

1. stagemonitor-tracing-zipkin, stagemonitor-eum-server are throwing the error while we are build code. Build is getting stating couldn't find those plugins, even tried with the different version too. But build couldn't get succeed.

2. After Request Monitor plugin , we are not able to access the application as we are getting 404, 500 type of error. Even we tried with other versions too and getting same kind of errors after deployments.

3. We are not getting data in Request Metrics, Application server , logging dash boards( showing as "not result available").

Hi,

1. you do not need stagemonitor-tracing-zipkin plugin if you report the metrics to elasticsearch.
   stagemonitor-eum-server is only needed if you want to do manual end user monitoring via the standalone server. Please see https://github.com/stagemonitor/stagemonitor/wiki/End-User-Monitoring for more information.
2. and 3. Could you please provide the startup log?
