Love the gem -- use it in all of my Rails applications now -- but have you considered a more Google friendly name?

I keep telling people about it when they ask, and then they tend to say something like, "I can't find it on Google, WTF?"

Haha, not a bad idea and something I'd never really stopped to think about. Any ideas?

No idea!

Looks like all the good names are taken already, including Configurable.

I'll mull it over. On the other hand app is pretty good as the gem name itself...

It doesn't get much simpler than gem 'app' and gem install app.

I had the same problem. I knew of this gem from Mikel Lindsaar's RailsConf presentation, "Keeping Rails on The Tracks". But when I went to google for it I came up with nothing, and when I searched on Github I couldn't find it either. Finally searching on RubyGems.org is what finally pointed me to the repo on Github.

I suggest 'app-ruby-config'

'app' is a simple name, but too simple to be descriptive and attract a bigger community.
