Woops, I screwed up on the second one - I've fixed it and pushed.

Re. the first issue, it seems em-http-request now defines a send method on the client (where as it didn't before),
overriding the built in one. I've changed it to use __send__ and pushed that fix as well.

In regards to use, I've added a link to the example in the em-http-request - Is that along the lines of what you'd wanted?
When I get a chance, I plan on writing up a more in depth tutorial / blog post and could link that in once that is ready.
