LICENSING: Components of psikeds are licensed in the following way:
[A] All parts of the psikeds:server:server (ResolutionEngine) which are
inaugurated by the psikeds project itself are free software: you can
redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the Affero General
Public License published by the Free Software Foundation, either version 3
of the License, or (at your option) any later version:

The psiKedsResolutionEngine is distributed in the hope that it will be
useful, but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of
MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. See the GNU Affero
General Public License for more details.
You should have received a copy of the GNU Affero General Public License
along with this program (see psikeds/licensing/licenses). If not, see
<http://www.gnu.org/licenses/>
This act of licensing concerns the resolution engine itself as the
overarching server application and all its constituting libraries which
are inaugurated by the psiKeds project. [Additionally, the psikeds
resolution engine = the psikeds:server:server might use other open source
libraries / plugins / snippets, which in most cases will have their own
licensing statements. It is up to the psiKeds project to deal with the
license compatibility. For details of the used sub components and their
licenses, see the psikeds-os-sub-component-mindmap]
As an exception, whenever the license requires you to 'convey' the
'Corresponding Source' you are allowed to omit from the 'Corresponding Source'
the source code for the unmodified Java packages, frameworks, and libraries
that are included as Maven dependencies during the build provided that:
1. The Java package, framework, or library is distributed under an OSI
approved open source license.
2. The corresponding Maven artefacts are available on the Maven Central
repository.

[B] The psikeds:client:server (QueryAgent) as whole is free software: you can
redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public
License as published by the Free Software Foundation, either version 3 of
the License, or (at your option) any later version.
The QueryAgent is distributed in the hope that it will be useful, but

You should have received a copy of the GNU General Public License
along with this program (see psikeds/licensing/licenses). If not, see
<http://www.gnu.org/licenses/>.
The libraries which are constituting the QueryAgent may be licensed under
different open source licenses. For details see the
psikeds-os-sub-component-mindmap.

[C] All libraries which constitute the QueryAgent (= psikeds:client:server) and
which are inaugurated by the psikeds project itself are free software: you

General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation, either
version 3 of the license, or (at your option) any later version.
The psikeds libraries of the QueryAgent are distributed in the hope that
they will be useful, but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied

You should have received a copy of the GNU Lesser General Public License
along with this program (see psikeds/licensing/licenses). If not, see
<http://www.gnu.org/licenses/>.
[Additionally, psikeds Query Agent and all its constituting libraries
might use other open source software as sub components which follow their
own licensings. It is up to the psiKeds project to deal with the license
compatibility. [For details of the sub components and their licenses, see
the psikeds-os-sub-component-mindmap]

[D] The psiKeds xml knowledge bases belong to the developing knowledge engineers
(and/or their hiring companies). The psiKeds project does not require to
publish these knowledge bases as open documents. It is up to the copyright
holder to distribute them as free or closed sources.
psikeds itself comes along with a set of knowledge bases which are
licensed as follows:

published under specific open source licenses. The licensing files
will be integrated into the specific directories. [For a first overview
