The UI is great but we need a prettier and better UI.

If you could tell me where do I start from?

If you might have noticed, B.E.N.J.I. looks like a small bar on the desktop with a nerdy look.
Can we have somewhat 'science-themed' look?

@arunikayadav42

I have a doubt..does benji run with python2 or python3 ?

@the-ethan-hunt

when i try to run benji.py under the linux folder it gives me error module not found .Can somebody help me?

@arunikayadav42

Also while running the benji.py file we have to install a number of packages like wikipedia and stuff so can we not improve the content of the contribution.md file?Can I raise an issue regarding the same?

@arunikayadav42 The dependencies to be installed are specified in the requirements.txt file. All you need to do is run

pip install -r requirements-linux.txt

This will install all necessary dependencies. 😄
You can find this file in the Linux folder. This will resolve all module not found errors.

Cool Thanks :) but don't you think including it in the contribution.md would be better for contributors?

Failed to build PyAudio
Installing collected packages: backports.functools-lru-cache, certifi, client, configparser, funcsigs, data, enum34, future, pexpect, ipython, parso, jedi, tempdir, shutilwhich, latex, mpmath, numpy, pytz, pandas, PyAudio, pylint, pyttsx3, regex, scandir, SpeechRecognition, style, update, wikipedia, wrapt, youtube-dl
Found existing installation: certifi 2018.1.18
Cannot uninstall 'certifi'. It is a distutils installed project and thus we cannot accurately determine which files belong to it which would lead to only a partial uninstall.

@kb-studios ..it gives the following errors what do I do.

@arunikayadav42

@arunikayadav42

Also it does not close,no matter what we do, after we force stop the execution of benji.py

@arunikayadav42 a few things for you:

  • Please do not post unnecessary messages like "it's finally running yeayyy". For such messages, markdown has a format.
  • Before writing a message for having an error here, please search your issue through Google/StackOverFlow or people on Slack. Please don't clutter the space here.
  • Opening an issue is easy. Recognizing whether the issue is needed is tough. You have to do the latter.
  • I suggest you to read this wiki for more stuff.

I guess I did search stackoverflow a lot and only then posted my query here.Also benji did function absurdly on linux ubuntu LTS 16.04 ...not at all like the way it is shown in the gif.THe gif for linux is actually the way things work in windows I guess.Hence I thought a lot of issues can be opened.
