Added

  • groups: Added render and sgx group

  • Added support for the unified "em-aarch64" machine that supports both the EM4xx-CB (hw0200) and the new TI AM62x-based EM-CB30 (hw0210)

    The "em4xx" machine can't be built directly anymore; the machine configuration only exists as a multiconfig that builds the EM4xx-CB bootloader for the em-aarch64 machine. A similar multiconfig machine "em-cb30" has been added as well.

    Existing build configurations must be updated to set MACHINE to "em-aarch64" instead of "em4xx".

    Instead of hardcoding these values, they are configurable in the machine config now.

  • emit: Add support for packaging multiple bootloader images in a single update bundle

    The bootloader is not included in the core image anymore; instead, it is copied from DEPLOY_DIR_IMAGE separately.

    During upgrades, a bootloader image is selected based on the machine's primary compatible string and its RAM size found in the Device Tree. The upgrade bundle is rejected if no matching bootloader variant is found.

  • emit: Add support for hardware that expects the "send ACK" eMMC bootpart flag to be set

  • emit: Update default app download URL to use HTTPS

  • u-boot-imx-em: Include missing license information for trusted-firmware-a and firmware-imx-8m
