Forgotten Sage suggests taking a look at PF Sphere of Power, as Academy/Kit Upgrades:

http://spheresofpower.wikidot.com/

In particular

Alchemy sphere, adds some mundane healing, some ways to get rid of status effects, some damage, some utility, and even different kinds of poisons

Past that? I think I would pick the berserker sphere. It's an alternative to barbarian rage that instead of boosting your strength, makes enemies weaker to maneuvers and gives temp hp every round (remember, temp hp doesn't stack from the same source so it doesn't just keep adding up)

Forgottensage: So I had a bit of an idea with scout sphere. If an enemy has it, they can take a swift action to determine if you have any weaknesses (for example if you have dr/slashing). The they will prioritize attacks against those weaknesses if they have something to do so. This will keep you on your toes and to keep an eye on your weaknesses and actually have those come into play more often

tukkek: javelin is already a full-information game (like chess or go), which is why i can implement the particular technology that the game uses (Αβ min-max search tree). maybe this could be a bonus to attack https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Complete_information

Forgottensage: Perhaps a +1, extra+1 for every 5 ranks in perception? (If such skill exists)

As for mass combat, you can use the pathfinder rules for mass combat to speed things up if you have too many enemies. https://www.d20pfsrd.com/gamemastering/other-rules/mass-combat/

And you can also use squad rules in leadership for smaller units of enemies http://spheresofpower.wikidot.com/leadership#toc27
