mindof is a simple microblogging tool writting in PHP and mysql. The goal of the project is to keep the tool simple for keeping a sideblog.

• Easy to use and simple interface – The interface was designed and written to be fast, easy and simple to use. It is sparse enough to be customized to your needs.
• Mirror updates to Twitter – Send all your updates to Twitter.
• Flickr Flickr integration – Cut and paste the URL to any Flickr photo into your posting and mindof will automatically parse it. A preview image and link to the Flickr photo URL will be created on the fly.
• YouTube integration – Cut and paste the URL to any YouTube video into your posting and mindof will automatically parse it. The video will automatically be embedded into the posting.
• Link creation – Cut and paste any URL into mindof and a hotlink will be created when the entry is displayed.

mindof uses icons from the gorgeous mini icon set from famfamfam which is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 license.

mindof uses a modified version of the character counting code from Sarah King.
