How to create an abstract base for the sole purpose of DRY and how to ignore fields from said base?

So my question is two-fold

1. Say I want to have a base model for which all my models inherit from, is this correct way of creating such a model?

type Base struct {
	ID        scalars.UUID `json:"id" bun:",pk,type:uuid,default:uuid_generate_v4()"`
	CreatedAt time.Time    `json:"created_at" bun:"created_at,default:current_timestamp"`
	UpdatedAt time.Time    `json:"updated_at" bun:"updated_at"`
        DeletedAt time.Time    `json:"updated_at" bun:"deleted_at,soft_delete"`
}

2. Now that I have the model and I have a struct which uses it, how do I tell bun to ignore certain fields from the base model?

type UserProject struct {
	Base // inherit all fields from base
	ID        scalars.UUID `bun:"-"` // <* I want to ignore this one
        ...
        userID    scalars.UUID `bun:",pk"`
        projectID scalars.UUID `bun:",pk"`
        // other fields
}

The above doesn't work. Bun still tries to use the ID field even though it is supposed to be ignored, which results in the error:

*pgconn.PgError: ERROR: column "id" of relation "user_projects" does not exist (SQLSTATE 42703)

I am using the latest version of bun (v1.1.12) and the database is postgres
