Bookmark bar support

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
A "deal-breaker" for me is the bookmark bar being missing compared to Chrome's default new tab layout. It is possible to show it with Ctrl+Shift+B, but then it appears on all websites (and not only in a new tab, as it does by default).

It'd be great if a toggle setting for its appearance could be added.

Describe alternatives you've considered
As I don't want to enable the bookmark bar on all websites, the only alternative I considered was removing Bonjourr.

Edit: I tried using the Import feature for QUICK LINKS, but it is not a replacement for a full bookmarks bar.

Hi @xJon !

Unfortunalely, this is not in our control... Currently on Chromium, the bookmark bar "on new tab only" is actually "on default new tab only". Since extensions are web pages, it's not considered as a "new tab".

Many developers have asked the chromium team to change this behavior, but it very low priority for them so it looks like nothing will change.

The best alternative is indeed to import your bookmarks, a feature that will be improved on the next big update (1.19.0) ! However this is not really the best alternative.

When I have time, I'll add a custom profile you can import on our docs that matches the bookmark bar style. That's the best we can do 😢

Syncing all the bookmarks (& bookmark folders) would eventually be a good workaround.
