This is a ruby library that integrates Pivotal Tracker and Slack. The library will send a message into a slack channel for every uncompleted task in pivotal, saying how long a user has spent on that task. This library is meant to be run once a day, to assist with morning standups.

gem install whois_slacking
Update the .env file with the proper tokens
Call the slackcron.rb file in the base directory (or create your own cronscript). Create a cronjob that calls the script e.g.:
0 8 * * * /bin/bash -l -c 'rvm use 2.1.5 ; . $HOME/path-to-env/.env ; ruby $HOME/path-to-cronscript/slackcron.rb > /tmp/slackcron.log'
Installation for contributors
- Ensure all tests pass by running
rspec spec - Submit a pull request with your changes
