This talk describes a need for more advanced features for media, such as media management features, where media, audio, subtitles can be played a presented in a single way. In more detail, what the particular requirements for browser APIs?
This is related with the need of incorporate the codecs needed for content validation without the need of a proxy when needed https://github.com/w3c/media-production-workshop/issues/59 with the need of having standard APIs in the browsers to be able to decode natively that content.
Ideally an standard API for the different browsers is required to abstract the validation stages in the Workflow from the browser used.
