Hi, this is my first ever "issue" posted, so I might miss the right style, please excuse.
During my last trip in Central Asia with the WS IOS app I was thinking how cool it would be to be able to hook up with other current travellers when reaching a new place/city.
So my proposal is a feature, that allows you to see on the map (differently colored pins) other cyclists currently on a trip.
In my mind I would imagine this as something like this, just on the iOS app:
IF your status is set to CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE, the app could ask:
are you willing to hook with other cyclists? If Yes, do you agree to sharing your location on the map? (Privacy related, obviously) (Shared only when online via Wifi, for example for 24hrs)
can you also briefly describe your current tour? (So other cyclists can see a rough profile)
This would allow us to filter the pins on the current map and get in touch with other cyclists potentially travelling the same direction.
(I admit, this feature is not strictly hospitality related, but it might still be very nice for the community)
