it didn't work without, why would it work with, (and yes i tried both)

it seems to pick up OBS's virtual cam, even when disabled in OBS, seeing the title bar but then crash

In my case, the win32 build kept crashing after creating the virtual camera output.
The win64 output also crashed after selecting video source (another virtual camera). I couldn't 'reset' it even after reinstalling - had to delete 'webcamoid' keys from the registry to fully 'reset'. From there, I was able to reinstall, select a working video source, select effects, create a virtual camera, and use its virtual camera instance on another app.

@alcosml where are the webcamoid keys you deleted located in the registry?

I am also crashing on win64 both install and portable. When I select OBS Virtual Webcam as the input source, it crashed and crashes every launch after that.

@karobelle, I found them through RegScanner by searching for "webcamoid" under HKCU & HKLM:

  • HKCU\SOFTWARE\Webcamoid
  • HKLM\SOFTWARE\Webcamoid
