Improve documentation on distributed caches

The documentation should be improved, but also include guidance on good patterns to follow with distributed caches. A lot of context for this is inside #246 (comment).

Cachex is not meant to be a persistent memory state across a cluster which survives restarts; this has to be made clear and better approaches have to be suggested and documented.
