Wire version: 3.30.3018
Wire for web version: 2023.04.11.09.39
Operating system: Arch Linux (rolling)
Which antivirus software do you have installed: clamav

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Install GNOME
  2. Add the "AppIndicator and KStatusNotifierItem Support" extension from https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/615/appindicator-support/
  3. Install Wire from the distribution repository (Note: Arch Linux uses system Electron 21)
  4. Start Wire with the --startup flag, which is documented at https://github.com/wireapp/wire-desktop/wiki/Start-Parameters

What is the expected result?

Wire should start and show only a tray icon. No window.

What is the actual result?

In some cases, Wire shows the main window. I found that this happens if ~/.config/Wire/config/window-state.json contains "isMaximized":true. Editing the file, setting this setting to false, restarting Wire and not maximizing its window avoids the bug.
