with youtube-dl I can import it into my python app and download/parse metadata from it: import youtube_dl as yt

can I use yt-dlp same way from a python app?

nice i use youtube-dl too , on python but i think this fork is better so i will try it out.

Worth noting that the yt_dlp.YoutubeDL is the starting point for using yt-dlp within python. The arguments can be found in here.
