Unstable SSH connection although ping is ok

Hi, I have a problem with SSH between Zerotier machines. I added my Windows laptop with ZeroTier 1.12.2 and some Linux virtual machines at my company's private cloud with ZeroTier 1.14.0 into a ZeroTier network. At company LAN, Zerotier connection is good for both ssh and ping. But when I use the laptop to connect to virtual machines from home, the ssh connection becomes unstable, often disconnected or experiencing connection timeout errors, although the ping test still gives stable results under 20ms.
