Team member with permission owner cannot delete datasets part 2

Hi @tilfischer,
For security purposes, the Owner will have all the rights same as the creator of the project except deletion/archival of the project, which only the creator of the project can do.
So in your case only Steffen Neumann has the right to delete the project as it was created by him.

You can find this also mentioned in the role description.

Dear Nisha,

for testing I created another project draft in nmrXiv Team IPB Halle. I am the creator of that project in a nmrXiv Team where someone else is the creator of that team.

Still, I cannot delete this project, although I am the creator of that project.

Dear @tilfischer,

I understand your point here, but to ensure security and keep the team's creator informed about any deletions, the creator should reach out to the team's creator for deletion or archival. This also applies the same in the case of the sharing of a project/sample.

Perhaps in the future, we can discuss this more & come up with the most mutually accepted solution once we have addressed all the high-priority issues first.
