Hi everybody, I can't remember when this started, but sometime in the last several months, the default behavior when hitting "Enter" after searching for a block reference started inserting a space before and after the block reference. I do not want this, but I can't figure out where the change was made to undo it. It messes up things like indentation when I'm making text italic. I think it might be somewhere in the "DWIM" settings, but I also haven't been able to find the documentation about what these settings actually do. I've tried changing each of them, to no avail.
For example, if I type:
and hit "ENTER" when I see the name of the block come up, what I'm wanting to happen is:
(I will enter the second asterisk at the end of the block reference.)
Instead, what I'm getting is:
There are spaces on both sides of my block reference that I do not want or need. The indentation ends up looking weird when the ones that already had a block reference are one space indented, but whatever else I'm typing in the same list does not have a space.
I just want the brackets to stay right next to the asterisks, and I don't want an extra space added on both ends when I hit ENTER. This happens on both desktop (Linux) and mobile (Android), but it didn't used to. I spend a really inordinate amount of time clicking around, going back and deleting these spaces.
Where is this setting controlled, and how do I turn it off? Thanks for your help!
