Keyboard can't type uppercase on latest ios update 17.0.2 #5871
Comments
@fufesou I think android may have the same issue. |
@sahilyeole please help test if it works on simulator with physical keyboard of your mac. |
Android does not have this issue.
|
I think he meant physical keyboard, softkeyboard does not have caplocks. |
Physical keyboard: Soft keyboard inside ios simulator: Screen.Recording.2023-10-01.at.9.06.10.AM.movChecked on ios 16.4, simulator for 17 is not available but let me see if I can get |
My password for my PC have uppercase, so rustdesk pretty much useless since i can't type in my password, i update my ios and rustdesk at the same time, so it's hard to say what is the main problem. |
@sahilyeole try out ipad simulator softkeyboard. |
@fufesou please follow up this. Not sure if real physical keyboard has this issue. |
I got the xcode update so I tested iOS 17.0 iPad and iPhone, both are working without any issue. Screen.Recording.2023-10-05.at.9.06.38.PM.mov |
Interesting. |
It would be great if anyone else with a physical iphone/ipad with ios 17 is willing to test this issue. |
This is on my iphone running ios 17.0.3 RPReplay_Final1697671973.mp4 |
Ok, thanks. It's kind of weird that it's working for me, considering that the virtual keyboard should be the same for both the simulator and the physical device, I think. Was it working well before ios 17 update? |
I think the ios not the problem, just test this on my old iphone running ios 15, RPReplay_Final1697673232.mp4 |
It is working for them on a physical iPhone device. Same results as mine on the simulator. |
Agree |
My 16.6.1 iPhone has the same issue. Besides that, my symbols are also bad, such as when I typed “(“ it got a “9”, as if the shift is not held in the typical keyboard layout (both characters are on the same physical key). PS. thanks for the videos, I didn’t even know holding shift on RustDesk interfaces can solve it. |
not working on android, latest version. I simply connect to remote pc, try to type the password, doesnt accept caps at all. When will it be fixed? |
Keep only one keyboard language in keyboard settings. |
run shift+del on android cannot delete remote windows11 files |
