Hi, I would like to have access to the private repo, if it is possible. |

Hey all,
When I started the bookmarklet, I just want to an easy way to get some photos from Instagram. When I did realize that this tool could help more people, I decided to become it public. The code was awful back then, and I just did want to help. The code was becoming bigger with all the time and features and I had an idea to put a "new release notification". So, the bookmarklet, when it was run, sent a request to this repo to see if a new release was available.
As an open-source code, I want to show transparency, so:
And yeah, we had some contributions along the time. I received many emails and DMs on Twitter by folks that doesn't have Github (thanks!) and we had many issues created. I received some PRs too, that was great! Thanks for that. I was hoping to receive more PRs due to my lack of time to maintain this tool, but I appreciated the help I received.
But, one thing happened, and I didn't like at all. Someone stole the code and created another [instantgram] repo, with the same code (and some updates, another version, using the same site that I've created with the same explanation GIF that I've created). I just think that as an open-source, this person could just help with PRs but, instead of that, this person just choose to create a new repo and move on.
For that reason, I resolved to move the source code of [instantgram] to a private repo. This currently repo will still available for tracking issues, changelog and source of [instantgram]'s site (and all those stars that I received - thanks).
The new private repo instangram-core will be used for development.
As I mentioned above, nowadays [instantgram] can't connect with outside Instagram's sources due CSP policies, so this makes the use of [instantgram] with no doubt secure (until eventually stop to work due to the same CSP policies)
If someone wants to help to develop the code (or with an issue), I can invite to the private repo. Just ping me.
Thanks for all,
