Hi, The only workaround so far is to launch nzbget as an administrator, or to use nzbget as a windows service. |
Nevermind, the write issue was due to launching nzbget as administrator and meddling around with console and rights. I ended up removing NZBGet program folder and starting over. Anyway, as mentionned here, this is due to Terminal being favoured over Command Prompt. You can fix this issue two ways, I am quoting:

Hi there, thx for your help. I would prefer the 2nd recommendation. But wonder what you mean by "Right-click your nzbget shortcut". You mean the nzbget.exe? Maybe it is too much to aks, but since I am a not very sophisticated "user" with two left hands and 10 thumbgs instead of regular fingers, maybe a screenshot could help me a lot ;-) Also my systemlanguage is german and I am not sure - since by right-clicking nzbget.exe and chosing its properties - there is no "Use legacy console" to be found ... nore something similar |
No, I mean the shortcut created in the Start Menu. |
You are awsome!!! Thank you... You shall have the best weekend ever and remember: you made my day! EXCELLENT |
You are welcome, even though I did not came up with the workaround... |
Hi there
after instlling the Windows 11 update named above I was not able to start nzbget by doubleclicking nor by doubleclicking any nzb file that is connected with the app. the only way to start nzbget was starting it as admin. that way you could add files to the Q.
Since I remembered that I had installed the latest Win11 update just the day before I uninstalled that update and all is working again. So we can nail down there is an issue with this latest update.
Hope it will be fixed as there are some great features that were coming with this update.
Is there a workaround?
