Indeed. It's like buying an IKEA package, and then ask others how to build it.
Describe the as-is characteristics and limits of each approach / setup. Something like a matrix with "native, snap, flatpak, docker, ..." versus "version, dependencies, rights, problems, ..." |

debian 12 user couldnt figure out how to get sab installed, as he tried normal apt which wanted to do 3.7.1 but then turned to snap...
from his logs:
but then of course ran into various problems, permissions with apps not able to access sab download folder within that snap sandbox...
then the snap install versions some really outdated utilities...
