I discovered this project quite recently and I think it's great, so firstly, thanks!
There's a big kerfuffle on Reddit at the moment about forthcoming API changes. I'm guessing nntpit will just break forever when this happens, which would be a real shame. Are there are plans to make it keep working, or is this a "wait and see" situation for now?

It's tough to say, I'm still using it and I'd like it to keep working! When the final changes go live I'll explore what the options are, maybe we can use the RSS interface instead.
Well, it still seems to work after the drop-dead date! At least I haven't noticed any problems after (admittedly light) testing, other than subreddits that have been restricted, etc. because of the ongoing (ahem) governance issues on the site.
I couldn't quite figure out from googling if there was supposed to already have been a clamp-down on unauthenticated access to ".json" endpoints, or if there are new rate limits, or limited access to post history, or what.
