Qick select for search results

Description of the new feature / enhancement

Search results should be numbered consecutively (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10).
At least for the first 10 search results.

And then use the number key to make a quick selection.
Key "1" = select first search result
Key "2" = select second search result
etc.

Scenario when this would be used?

always
Would be used for every search.

Supporting information

Since “Command Palette” is a keyboard-centric application, this would in most cases mean a reduction in keystrokes or mouse movements.

This is not a terrible idea.

I don't love the idea of a raw 1, 2, 3... being the hotkeys for this, but maybe alt+1 or something.
