Description
Description:
After a recent update around 16-01-2025, the timeline slicer works fine in Power BI Desktop, but it exhibits buggy behavior in Power BI Service. Specifically, even after removing labels for all time periods in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service still shows Year, Month, Quarter, Week, and Day. We need to manually turn these off in Power BI Service every time we publish the report. Also there is a vertical scroll for the same visual, this was not present in the previous version.
Steps to Reproduce:
Create a report in Power BI Desktop using the timeline slicer.
Remove all labels for time periods (Year, Month, Quarter, Week, Day) in Power BI Desktop.
Publish the report to Power BI Service.
Observe that the time period labels are still displayed in Power BI Service.
Expected Behavior:
The timeline slicer in Power BI Service should reflect the same settings as configured in Power BI Desktop, with all time period labels removed.
Actual Behavior:
The timeline slicer in Power BI Service shows Year, Month, Quarter, Week, and Day labels, even though they were removed in Power BI Desktop. We need to manually turn off these labels in Power BI Service every time we publish the report.
Could you please provide access to the previous version of the timeline slicer (from December 2024) that was working correctly? We will use that version for our Power BI reports.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
