Save profile/extension preferences and timeline tempfiles for workspace in workspace folder (in .vscode subdirectory?)

It's something like the issue #193970, but we want all the following to be saved into the workspace directory (not in a global user folder like C:\Users\[USER]\AppData\Roaming\Code\User\workspaceStorage and C:\Users\[USER]\AppData\Roaming\Code\User\History)

• Workspace profile preferences (to decide the profile for the current workspace)
• Extension preferences (to decide which extensions are enable/disable for the current workspace)
• Local file histories (i.e. "timeline")

It's annoying when the above items get lost again and again each time we move/rename our workspace folders.
