Terminal defaults to PowerShell and cannot be changed

In the latest updat of VSCode I no longer can select the terminal I wanted, now it is only PowerShell. Underneath there is some kind of error message. I am not sure if it is caused by this.

I cannot reproduce it with default settings: I started Powershell (7.5.1), Command Prompt, and Git Bash.

Did you try starting VSCode with extensions disabled code --disable-extensions?
