Description:

• VS Code + GitHub Copilot automatically creates empty .py files
• Happens when typing import statements or file references
• Files are created with 0 bytes
• Occurs across multiple projects consistently
• No setting to disable this behavior

Please help us out by providing a screen recording showing exactly what isn't working as expected.
