• • 'Mod the Sims'-hosted installers: Pasting the installer URL into the Wingetcreate procedure gives the "Failed to parse the package from (…)" error.
• • GitHub-hosted installers: Pasting the installer URL into the Wingetcreate procedure gives the "Failed to download installer.
    Unable to complete the download request as the connection has timed out. Please verify your installer URL and try again." error, as is the case for oddly many GitHub-hosted programs.

Warning

Reject version v4.0.2: Unsupported compress algorithm

According to its release notes, a third-party archiver is required. winget.exe will ONLY use Windows built-in archiver, which NOT support LZMA algorithm.

Changes

• Slightly reduced program size;

I can't readily imagine why Windows Defender would flag it. I take an unqualified guess that more than half a million people use SaveCleaner, considering how highly it is placed on Sims 3 fanbase websites' "How to optimise Sims 3 gameplay performance" guides; so if it had been malware, people would've known about it.
