Have a 3068 mech. Load that mech. Want to make an introtech version in 3025, so I change the name and change the design year to 3025.
All of the components correctly switch as expected, DHS to SHS, Endo structure to standard structure, etc... But on the crit assignment page, still shows endo crit slots. Saving and reloading did not fix. Some of them were removeable by dragging off to the left and they would disappearm, but eventually you could not any longer. So mech is not usable at this stage.
Changing year back to 3068 and then manually cycling structure from Standard to Endo and back to Standard did remove the problem crit slots.
I have attached log and the original and bugged version of mech.
Same thing happened to DHS. Would be bugged if you changed the year and let them "auto switch" and have unremovable DHS floating around. But if you manually switch from DHS to SHS and then change year, works fine.
So, perhaps the Auto Switch is not clearing illegal items by year, whereas manually switching will.
