Linux support #73
Comments
tehcnically it is, the linux implementation is called Mono |
Does Mono resolve your issue? |
Let me know if you're able to use Mono to sort this. Maybe one day I find the time to make it supported in the future if it gets requested a lot! |
I will like a version Linux too. |
Doesn't Mono work for you? |
I would like build instructions if u have the time for it. Im on Linux, Fedora atm. Ive built a lot of software but not sure how it is building windows software to run on Linux. I prefer native programs so I dont have to mess around with Wine too much. |
@ProfessorSparrs can you hit me on discord please? |
how do I do that? long time since I added someone on Discord |
join the server and message there if you want |
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Wine can't run the application due to an error you can see https://controlc.com/2ec5f19d
.NET Framework is not available on Linux so you cannot build the project
Describe the solution you would like
Extract logic from UI components into a library, that way you can have the same backend with any frontend, e.g. a WinForms project and a CLI project that use the same library
Describe alternatives you've considered
Doing it myself if I can get my hands on a Windows machine
