It is fairly easy to test and confirm that the heavier the kart, the lower the speed it requires to leave the ground and jump when the road suddenly falls down (the Cornfield Crossing barn being the easiest test spot).

I think this is related to the vertical impulse applied to the kart to prevent it from jumping to easily, as it is the same with all classes, it has a stronger effect on lighter classes.

Instead, all kart classes should leave the road and jump at a similar speed. This would be more logical and would also help when balancing potential jumps in tracks.

The speed at which different karts jump from an obstacle is now identical. The choice of 300 as the base mass decreases the propensity to leave the ground of heavy karts (350), and increases that of medium (262,5) and light karts (210).
