Closing because this doesn't need to be separate from #167
Can you merge the information from here into there? It makes it hard/confusing for me to respond, if it's fragmented across two issues.
Also, unrelatedly but relatedly, that view option doesn't need to be fragmented across two top level menus. The fact that the singular options in each top level menu are named "View" should be a hint that maybe it should go in the View menu. It could be a checkbox in the View menu.
