State

The web app was last serioudly worked on in Decemeber 2023. This means it is widely out of date when it comes ot the curent state of the engine.

Problem

The engine has been having development work #165 that is developing a newer safety issue search engine. This is going to be the basis for the webapp.

Solution

This web app will use the same searching system that was developed in #165.

It will only have three things:

The webapp works locally.
Trying to get the lancedb hosted in the cloud was more difficult than expected. It has also run into issues of FTS not being supported on a remote connection. Therefore I will hold off on further effort here until more thought has been put into what the final deployment will be looking like.

AAfter a meeting there has been discussion about splittng up the RAG part of it so that yo can get a quick summary and then get more info if you need.

This more info would be a good opportunity to have tmeplates and such to help with particular use cases.
