Hello everyone,

I hope someone can assist me with this issue. Today, I purchased a Razer BlackWidow keyboard. Everything seems fine, but I am unable to download Synapse, the software that allows you to configure and manage the RGB colors.
I noticed that for previous versions of macOS, it was possible to download Synapse, but it appears not to be compatible with Sonoma.

Is there any possibility that this app will become available for Sonoma in the near future?
Thank you very much for any help you can provide.

Black Widow v4 pro and Basilisk v3 pro here on Sonoma 14.2.1. I am also hoping for an update. Thank you

same, also on MacOS 14.2.1 and just got the Blackwidow v4 pro... I don't care so much about the RGB but I like all the extra input keys and wheels. The keyboard works but I can't use any Synapse software. Razer says 2.0 should work but it doesn't recognize any device is plugged in. I tried messaging Razer and I think they just laughed at me... clearly, mac users are not their target audience, so I turned to open source.

I tried this program but it also doesn't recognize the device that's plugged in. I see the note saying to "allow" in the security preferences but I don't see that option anywhere.

Hopefully an update is forthcoming!

Yeah, I also have a black widow on my Mac with Sonoma, and I can't seem to be able to use it. Hopefully there will be an update for Sonoma compatibility!!!!

You have tried this release https://github.com/stickoking/razer-macos/releases/tag/v0.4.11 ? Should work I'm on Sonoma and have the v4 75% did you uninstall 0.4.10 before installing 0.4.11?

If it still does not work can you assist with some screenshots of the app?

ohhh I believe then this is a different issue, 0.4.11 was to add support for Blackwidow V4 75% seems there is a bug with Blackwidow elite, can you raise an issue on my repo here https://github.com/stickoking/razer-macos I can try take a look at the bug

If you can can you go to your system settings click on general then click on about then click on system report on the bottom and get me a screenshot like this for the details of your keyboard

I can't seem to find the keyboard, maybe it's because the mac is not recognizing?

I'm not sure how to find the keyboard since my mac won't detect it

After a disappointing attempt to reach Razer support, I wondered what was the point of spending so much on a keyboard that is nothing but a hassle. So I returned the Razer keyboard and got a Corsair K70 that works just fine for half the price, yet still manages to be the most expensive keyboard I've bought.

Good luck everyone, I hope you find the support that you deserve.

You're not able to use your keyboard plug and play, all keyboards whether razer or others should work with standard keyboard functionality on macs? razer-macos just expands that functionality to allow you to customize rgb, polling rate, dpi on mouses etc.

Hello sorry for disappointing you, razer-macos does not support v4 pro yet only the v4 75%. Kindly raise issues on my repo https://github.com/stickoking/razer-macos, I will try to add support.

So there is no use in opening up an issue? is there any solution to have a blackwidow elite to work on a mac?

This is really helpful. I got my Blackwidow V4 75% working. However, when my Macbook goes to sleep, the RGB lighting on my keyboard goes dark and does not light up when I wake my Macbook up. The keys work but the light stays dark. I'm wondering if that's a software or hardware issue? Thanks in advance!
