@MattF-NSIDC is helping run a workshop with the CryoCloud Hub that is using the ability of Linux Desktop to launch inside JupyterHub to use Qgis, and it is quite helpful! We should turn this into a blog post on the Jupyter blog.

jupyterhub/team-compass#671 is the upstream issue about this blog post and it's almost ready to go!
