Creating multiple replicas on the same tree crashes the server #2450
Comments
Comment from misko at 2017-10-04 15:10:33 It's even funnier with ro replica:

Comment from lkrispen (@elkris) at 2017-10-04 15:51:03 ok, it should not crash and be consistent, but what is the intention of the test ? you cannot have multiple replicas for one suffix, so the proüer fix would be to reject the attempt to create a second replica |

This is just a pointer on some deeper issue with replicas. I'm working on Ansible roles for setting up 389dir replication; I always set up a fresh environment and after a while of fiddling with replicas, I get into server crashing. This what I posted is the (yet) only deterministic way how to prove my problem(s). |
