This is not an issue per se but an inquiry:

I'm in the process of making a lot of enhancement and additions to this library, and I'm wondering whether it's an active, maintained project?

Seems like you're in charge here, @vineetmobile.
The changes that I'll be posting will be backward-compatible but it will open up the library to a lot of customization. I am wondering whether this is a welcome addition?
