Support for Fedora #8
Comments
I have installed it by source in Fedora and it works fine - except for the zfs specific options that hook up to volume shadow copy |
I had done that at first but then made a wrapper rpm that provides /usr/libexec/platform-python by ln /usr/bin/python3.9 /usr/libexec/platform-python That allowed me to use the centos8 repo and not have to keep looking at the source for updates, cool thing it also allowed my to install their other package cockpit-navigator. |
Hello all, |
Well for anyone that lands here looking for this and looking for some ideas i made a copr repo in fedora: https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/jose-pr/cockpit-file-sharing/ Based on this: https://github.com/jose-pr/cockpit-plugins-fedora-builder |
Can a repo be provided for fedora, especially a package that doesnt depend on: /usr/libexec/platform-python
