It is now called "All tabs" because it lists hits from all tabs ever opened during the present session (and thus corresponds to the button number) by contrast to the one called "This tab". But when we say "all tabs" we usually don't think about closed tabs, but about the ones we can see and click (an option for that is now lacking, and I have posted a separate feature request).

When I have asked what the toolbar button number shows, the answer was that it is the total number of detections per browser session. Therefore, that should be the name of the option, because the list we see when we select it has that number of entries.

The options have been renamed to "current tab" and "current session" in v2.11.0.
