Setup CI Server #17
Comments
I'm thinking Buddybuild. I asked them if they had free hosting for open source projects. Also this will be more valuable once the project has tests, but still would like to get it setup for distribution / crash reporting etc. |
According to their FAQ open source projects just get the same as the free tier. The main downside to the free tier is the limit on the number of devices that are automatically provisioned, but if TestFlight is used for distributing test builds it isn't much of an issue. |
I use CircleCI mainly for iOS and works great but is a bit expensive. They also offer free builds for OSS but that was pre-OSX build servers so not sure it applies, I'd wager not. |
Looks like I need to be a contributor on the repo before I can setup a build on Buddy Build. |
@nickoneill can you add @alexanderjrobinson? |
Done - you can add team members now as well @subdigital |
I created a 5calls organization on BuddyBuild and added the iOS app. Someone with more privileges than me will need to add the web hook for Github and configure the iTunes Connect integration on BuddyBuild. https://dashboard.buddybuild.com/apps/5897bfe9e9a832010023be69 |
@alexanderjrobinson how do I access this? |
I sent you an invite. Let me know if you don't receive it. @nickoneill should already have access because he had a BuddyBuild account already. |
I'd be happy to help get the build going on a CI server. Any preference on what to use? Travis or Buddy Build seem like the most likely candidates.
