RR2 / 3 is pretty bloated and who knows how long it'll be supported for.

RR4 ditched the centralised router config which makes it hard to identify data dependencies before rendering on the server... https://www.npmjs.com/package/react-router-config might work or perhaps there's another router which will be a better fit.
