  1. Disable your antivirus software before starting the process. Some antivirus programs may detect CDMA Workshop as a virus and block it.
  2. Plug your modem into your computer and let it install its drivers. If it asks for a PIN code, enter 0000 or 1234.
  3. Run CDMA Workshop software and select the COM port of your modem from the drop-down menu. Click on Connect and then on Read.
  4. Go to the Security tab and click on SPC. Select Send SPC as Default (000000) and click on Write. You should see a message saying SPC is correct.
  5. Go to the Memory tab and click on NV Items. Select Read from the drop-down menu and enter 9999 in the Last NV Item box. Click on OK and wait for the reading process to finish.
  6. Save the NV Items file as a backup on your computer. You may need it later if something goes wrong.
  7. Now go to the Main tab and click on Disconnect. Close CDMA Workshop software.
  8. Run E1732 Downgrader software and click on Accept. It will detect your modem and start downgrading its firmware. Wait for the process to finish.
  9. Once done, you will see a message saying Download Complete. Click on OK and close E1732 Downgrader software.
  10. Unplug your modem from your computer and restart it. Your modem is now unlocked and ready to use with any SIM card.
