What happened?

Relating to https://github.com/86Box/86Box/issues/4381, It seems the Motherboard that the Socket 5 Dell Machine was based off of is also having problems.

Previously, I was trying to test if the Ctrl-Alt-Del freezing problem applied to this board, but I can't even boot this thing. It just hangs at the boot screen. It also hangs when attempting to enter BIOS Setup.

Monitor_1_20240511-153001-378

Steps to Reproduce:

1#: Set up an Intel Premiere PCI II, any configuration.

2#: Upon first boot, this will happen no matter what.

Expected Behavior:

Pressing F2 to enter setup and setting everything up, then booting into whatever boot disk of whatever OS you plan to install.

Additional context

I mentioned this problem previously in the other thread, but this needs it's own bug report.

This VHD in this test machine is also not formatted, as this is a fresh machine. With the machine not able to boot, formatting is currently not possible outside of changing the machine entirely.

Not an 86Box bug - the BIOS does not like LBA hard drives, so give it a <= 503 MB drive.

@OBattler OBattler closed this as not planned Won't fix, can't repro, duplicate, stale May 20, 2024
