Longitude and latitude cannot be set manually #2312
Comments
Hi @jablonm, Thank you for reaching out! Tried removing the colon ":" in the first text field box? |
Actually there is no colon, it is a part of 3. Here is better example with all numbers on the screen. |
Oh, thanks for clarifying! I've reported the issue to the devs! We'll update you once we know more about the issue. |
Hi again, Our development team is currently investigating the issue. I wanted to confirm something; I just noticed that you are connected to a VPN. Would you mind attempting to input the coordinates without connecting to it? In some cases, services such as VPN or DNS can hinder Niagara/Weather provider's ability to connect with their servers. Could you please verify if this might be the cause of the problem? Thanks, |
Hi, thank you for returning to me and investigating the issue. I have just tested again without VPN and unfortunately the same error occur. When I provide longitude and latitude with "." I get error that values need to be between -180 and 180 however I can't provide the same values using "," because nothing happen when I click on ",". For me it looks more like UI error then something connected with connection or VPN. |
Describe the bug
It is not possible to set latitude and longitude using comma (text field does not accept such character). Values written with a dot are interpreted as an error. Tested on two devices (Pixel 4a5g and Lenovo Tab M10 3rd gen).
