In the Helmholtz EOS, we have four important sources of thermodynamic quantities:

  1. Weak Reactions Electrons (Sources provided via interpolation of tables).
  2. Through the scattering of Ions (Modeled as an ideal gas)
  3. Radiation (Modeled as a black body gas)
  4. Coulomb Corrections (based on fitting models)

I think it could be fun at one point to explore the Skye EOS, described here: https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2021ApJ...913...72J/abstract
